The desperation of the residents of the streets where the bottles are held is considerable. About three months ago they met in a collective, SOS Triángulo Golfo, which holds a weekly assembly and last Saturday held a party in a section of Calle Pere IV to denounce the conflict. The entity prepares a complaint against the district councilor, David Escudé, and the deputy mayor for Security, Albert Batlle.

The neighbors maintain that although there have always been large bottles, these have skyrocketed after the pandemic, and take place at least from Wednesday to Sunday. SOS Triángulo Golfo calls on the city council to enforce the regulations, which prohibit drinking in the street, urinating on it, defecating and having sexual relations. According to the group, these four activities take place in the affected streets.
