The police also confirm damage to cars, which must also be analyzed.

“We will no longer be able to say that it is a quiet corner”, launched a citizen of rue Thibodeau.

The death of the victim was confirmed in the early evening. This is probably the first murder to occur on the territory of the City of Quebec in 2022. The thesis of the settlement of accounts would be unlikely.

After verification, the deceased man was never sent to the hospital.

A total of three people were taken to hospital. The suspect, for behavioral problems, as well as two people in shock received treatment.

The Quebec City Police Service (SPVQ) received several calls from citizens through 9-1-1 to report this attack. So there would be witnesses who saw or heard part of the events. The investigators will first have to meet many neighbors.

At least one vehicle, possibly two, is inside the wide perimeter. Travel is still very limited in the neighborhood.

The SPVQ mobile command post is on the scene. Forensic identification technicians are also on site.
