This Monday, the state authority recalled that this program consists of promoting the commercialization of products that are made in the entity through digital platforms.
“A wide catalog of suppliers, services and goods is offered to support local sales that help maintain jobs and the different supply chains,” he said.
On how to become part of the program’s vendor catalog, Sedeco developed the website https://yoconsumolocal.edomex.gob.mx/, where merchants must fill out a form (which has due data protection).
“After completing the information, you will receive a confirmation email, you will obtain a folio number to enter, edit your profile and receive requests for the purchase of your items or products, guaranteeing their shipment through a local taxi service” , he delved.
Also, merchants can offer their products on WhatsApp; “To be part of #YoConsumoLocal, the authorities make available to the interested public the number +1 (202) 852-6174”.
“With this initiative, sundries, meat shops, chicken shops, food preparation outlets, beauty shops, cleaning product providers, dry cleaners, haberdashery, gardening and all kinds of Mexican businesses make their services available to consumers. It should be noted that consumers will receive the purchases they make up to the doors of their homes, “said the state authority.
According to the state government, the implementation of this project has supported more than 5,210 producers, merchants and service providers from the different Mexican municipalities, who have increased their sales by 15%, on average.
Meanwhile, a total of 20,991 users have used the corresponding application to purchase their products.
