Edmonton police are releasing images of a man who was found dead in September 2020 in an effort to determine his last known whereabouts.

The remains of Scott Dale Johnson, 39, were initially discovered near 127 Avenue and 71 Street on September 24, 2020. A coroner performed an autopsy, but was unable to determine the cause and manner of death.

In a press release Tuesday, police said investigators are now looking into the events that led to the man’s death to ensure he did not die as a result of a criminal act, and are asking if anyone has information on the man, specifically between August and August. the day he died.

Police released images of Johnson along with photos of an electric bike that he frequently rode around town.
