Tickets went on sale at 10 am Saturday, and after two hours, fewer than 10 per cent of weekend passes remained. Four-day passes were sold out as of Saturday evening and while single-day tickets were still available, few remain for the Saturday, Aug. 6 date.

Producer Terry Wickham said festival organizers weren’t sure what to expect following two years of cancellation due to the pandemic.

“In past years, the lineups for tickets were an indicator,” said Wickham. “When you sell online only, you don’t have any indication until sales go live.”

Remaining tickets will be available for purchase in-person next week.

The festival teased one of its most impressive lineups ever with The National, The War on Drugs, Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats, Allison Russell, Buffy Sainte-Marie and Lord Huron.

On May 25, it announced the full lineup hitting the hill, adding Mary Chapin Carpenter, Orville Peck, Jeremy Dutcher and 49 other acts.

The festival runs at Gallagher Park from Aug. 4-7.
