The donations of two Caquiste deputies to pro-life organizations were “good faith errors” and “it will not happen again”, pleaded Thursday the Minister responsible for the Status of Women, Isabelle Charest.

Hounded by Liberal MP Isabelle Melançon in the Blue Room, Isabelle Charest reiterated that all government MPs were “resolutely pro-choice”.
According to an investigation carried out by Urbania, two caquiste deputies, the representative of the riding of Drummond-Bois-Franc, Sébastien Schneeberger, and that of Beauce-Sud, Samuel Poulin, made donations to pro-life organizations working under the guise of as a pregnancy center since 2018.
