Former US President Donald Trump said Monday that he will not return to the social media platform Twitter even if his account is reinstated, following billionaire Elon Musk’s announcement that he would buy the company.
Trump told foxnews which will formally join its own Truth Social network in the next seven days, as planned.
“I’m not going to go to Twitter, I’m going to stay on Truth,” Trump told Fox News. “I hope Elon buys Twitter because he’s going to make improvements to it and he’s a good man, but I’m going to stay on Truth,” he added.
