Cristina Cifuentes has reappeared as a star in a photocall. The former politician was one of the guests at the premiere of ‘Fama, El Musical’, as a VIP guest. At the event that took place at the EDP Gran Vía Theater (Madrid), YOTELE has been able to talk to her and ask her about her past, present and future on television: “I believe in television entertainment more and more“.
“In complicated times like the ones we have experienced, people need to have an escape route to avoid problems. Within that, if, in addition, entertainment has a cultural component, much better. Televisions have a responsibility to citizens and that includes offering quality productsCifuentes points out.
Asked about the reality shows, the former leader of the PP in Madrid recalls that she was offered to participate in ‘Survivors’ and why she rejected the offer, as we told in YOTELE exclusively in 2020: “They offered me very good conditions, for anyone. But, I rejected it because I am a true survivor. I was in a coma for more than a month after an accident and I have survived very terrible things.”
Asked if she would agree to participate in ‘Survivors’ today, she says: “I defend the freedom of each one, but at this moment in my life I don’t consider it. Although, if I have learned anything, it is that someone can never say to anything “I will never do that”.
