Disappearance of Erin Brooks ‘Suspicious’: Fredericton Police – New Brunswick | The Canadian News

The disappearance of a 38-year-old woman in New Brunswick is still being investigated, Fredericton police say.

Erin Brooks was last seen on the evening of December 27 at the St. Seen Mary’s Smoke Shop on Fredericton’s Northside.

In a Thursday release, police said investigators “believe she is likely to be the victim of foul play.”

They released a photo of when Brooks was last seen on December 27th. She was wearing blue jeans, a dark brown jacket and black boots.

Police described her as five feet two inches or five feet three inches long, with brown eyes and black hair with bangs.

Brooks’ sister Morgan Henderson said in an interview last week that her family had not seen her since Dec. 25, two days before she was last seen.

It’s now more than a month since she went missing, and the family said they just want to see her get home safely.

“If she’s scared to come home after all this time, do not be, because the pain we’re going through and do not know where she is, if she’s right, it’s awful,” Henderson said.

“It is terrible. I will not wish it on anyone. “

St. Mary’s First Nation chief, Allan Polchies, said last week that the community had gathered behind Brooks and her entire family.

“I just want to let Erin know that we consistently pray for her, for her children, for her family and for everyone in our community.”
