Disappearance of a second septuagenarian in Montreal


Montreal police have asked for the public’s help in locating Ginette Fontaine Laurin, a 73-year-old woman who has been missing since Friday morning.

Another woman, Sharon Cuttell, 79, disappeared Friday afternoon in the Beaconsfield area.

Ms. Fontaine Laurin, white-skinned, is 150 cm (4′ 11′) tall and weighs 70 kg (155 lb). She has brown eyes, gray hair, and is missing an incisor in her lower jaw.

According to the SPVM, Ms. Fontaine Laurin wore a pale blue sweater, black pants, black shoes with white soles, a brown handbag, a gold chain with a cube-shaped pendant.

Mrs. Fontaine Laurin would like to go to parks, especially Marguerite-Bourgeois Park.

She was last seen around 9:30 a.m. Friday in the Southwest area of ​​Montreal.

Investigators have reason to fear for her health and safety, she could be confused and disoriented.
