The men’s and women’s winners will be determined in the vote of the head coaches and captains of the national teams in the region, the media and the fans through http://www.concacaf.com.
CONCACAF says the 2021 nominees were chosen based on performance statistics and voting by expert panels made up of former male and female professional players and soccer broadcasters.

David (Lille, France) and Davies (Bayern Munich, Germany) face Jamaican Michail Antonio (West Ham, England), Mexican Hirving Lozano (Naples, Italy) and Americans Weston McKennie (Juventus, Italy) and Christian Pulisic ( Chelsea, Italy). England).
Fleming (Chelsea, England), Labbe (Paris Saint-Germain, France) and Sinclair (Portland Thorns, NWSL) face Americans Crystal Dunn (Portland) and Lindsey Horan (Olympique Lyonnais, France) and Mexican Stephany Mayor (Tigers UANL, Mexico).
