David Otero, to ‘Sueño de Morfeo’: “You have to cheer up, come back and make music”


Convince ‘El Sueño de Morfeo’ to get together again on top of the stages to give a solidarity concert with those affected by the natural disaster of Old Summitin La Palma, is gaining new and great supports. After more than a week of adhesions to the campaign of the ‘Great Solidarity Challenge’, organized by Prensa Ibérica, the editorial group of this newspaper, and Endesa Music Lover, after adding many messages of support and encouragement from followers and fellow artists, the musician David Otero yesterday also wanted to record the friendship that unites him with David Feito , Juan Luis Suárez and Raquel del Rosario and he also wanted to support a possible meeting of the band in order to help rebuild the island and those affected by the volcano.

“I know and am very close friends with the boys from ‘El Sueño de Morfeo’, explains the former guitarist and composer of “El Canto del Loco”, a project he abandoned in 2010, with the dissolution of that group, and from which he went on to a solo career with which he is now reviewing all his hits, in ‘Otero y yo’.

In the video that David Otero has brought to the project ‘Gran Reto Solidario’ he says that his friendship with the trio dates from the beginning, “almost before they released their first album”: “I met them many years ago in Gijón and I am lucky to have shared many things with them, of having developed a great friendship, of knowing them well & rdquor ;. Now, David Otero has found out, he explains, about the solidarity concert project and that Raquel del Rosario’s band is being asked to get back together “and delight us with their songs.” David Otero does not want to miss the opportunity to add his grain of sand and support that return for a good cause, and that is why he concludes with a message of support: “You have to cheer up, come back and make music & rdquor ;, he concludes.

As part of the ‘El Gran Reto Solidario’ campaign, the Asturcanian pop-rock band that signed hits such as “Never Will Return” He has already begun to share some of the tributes born in this project on his social networks, versions of his songs performed by artists such as Pablo Moro, Marisa Valle Roso, Noan, LYD or ‘La M de Matilde’.
