Darias defends doctors after Ayuso hinted at a boycott

The Minister of Health, Carolina Darias, said this Wednesday that health professionals, especially those in Primary Care, “they do not deserve any reproach” and it has considered “inadmissible” that at this moment, in which the pandemic has run rampant, “it is charged against them.” Darias has thus disfigured, during his intervention in the control session to the Government of Congress, the statements of the Madrid president, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, in which a health boycott and he assured that he is going to study what happens in health centers because in some of them “They don’t pick up the phone, they hang up or suddenly there are no doctors.”

The head of Health has taken advantage of a question from deputy Íñigo Errejón, from Más País, about the measures he considers necessary in the face of the advance of the omicron variant, to highlight the effort that has been made in health to get here.

And he added that “the backbone of those who have made it possible are health professionals, especially those in Primary Care”, who, as he said, “They deserve our recognition, our support and no reproach.”

The deputy from Más País, for his part, reminded the minister that a lot has been demanded of the Spanish citizens in these last two years and that they have complied, something that, in his opinion, the governments are not doing.
