Cuauhtémoc Mayor’s Office modifies the economic detonation project for the Zona Rosa

The mayoress in Cuauhtémoc, Sandra Cuevas Nieves, announced that the economic detonation project for the Pink Zone, for which the Green Tourist Corridor.

At a press conference, he explained that the project has an initial budget of 50 million pesos and consists of rescuing the more than 700 commercial establishments, but with a sustainable approach, “under a vision harmonious with nature.”

Regarding the reasons for modifying this project, Cuevas Nieves elaborated that this is due to the fact that the different authorizations were not obtained from the dependencies of the Government of Mexico City.

“In such a way that if there is something that cannot work, such as the Zona Rosa Technological Tourist Corridor that we proposed, I will not be left fighting a project that will take me a year and a half of administration. Right now we are going through the Green Tourist Corridor in Zona Rosa ”, he said.

At the same time, he informed that he will attend the 45 streets of the Juárez neighborhood due to the existence of potholes in the asphalt layer.

It should be remembered that in October of last year, the mayor announced that the Technological-Tourist Corridor of the Zona Rosa was going to be built, which she intended to homologate to that of Las Vegas in the United States.

The total investment of this new project amounted to 300 million pesos and it was planned to finish it at the end of January 2022.

Government plan

The mayor also announced the main achievements in her first 100 days of government, such as the recovery of 13 squares, parks, gardens and the renovation of public markets.
