Cryptocurrency market continues to lose

This Thursday, bitcoin lost again, reaching 28,418.70 dollars per unit, around 5:30 p.m. Mexico City time, a decline of 2.26% in its value. With this fall, the most famous cryptocurrency in the world lost 8.35% in two days.

So far in May, bitcoin has already lost 24.52% and so far this year it has accumulated a drop of 38.51 percent.

Cryptocurrencies have been dragged down by a sell-off in riskier assets, which has gathered steam this week after data showed US inflation remains high, raising investor fears about the economic impact of an aggressive tightening of the monetary policy of central banks.

Other cryptocurrencies also fell, such as Cardano (-12.39%), Solana (-11.88%), Ripple (-9.26%), Ethereum (-9.03%), Polkadot (-8.61%) and Dogecoin fell 6.03%, in value intraday.
