CP Kids & Families was founded in 1951 by a group of parents, each of whom was dealing with the challenges of their children’s similar but somewhat varied disabilities and had not received a specific diagnosis.
CP Kids & Families is more than an organization: they are a community, an extended family, and a livelihood for families in need. They share the experience of having children living with a physical disability and provide not only hope, but also the possibility that children are more than just the label of their disability.
