COVID Vaccine Boosters Rushed in Ontario, New Restrictions in Place in Some Provinces | The Canadian News

Adults in Ontario who want to book a COVID-19 booster may have to wait more than a week for an appointment, as many health regions say reservations ran out this morning.

The province has expanded eligibility for booster shots to those over the age of 18, provided it has been at least three months since their second shot, due to the increasing number of cases and the threat of the Omicron variant.

Health officials in Ottawa say that within 15 minutes all spots had been booked and were working to add more capacity.
