COVID-19: sharp drop in hospitalizations and 12 more deaths in Quebec


Quebec has 1,493 people positive for COVID-19 in its hospitals, including 51 patients in intensive care.

In addition, 12 deaths are added to the balance sheet.

THE SITUATION IN QUEBEC AS OF MAY 20, 2022

  • 1,060,657 people infected (+612*)
  • 15,338 deaths (+12)
  • 1493 people hospitalized
  • 51 people in intensive care
  • 12,321 samples taken
  • 209,649 self-declared rapid tests so far, including 172,047 positive: 167 declared for the day yesterday, including 131 positive.
  • 13,086 doses administered are added, or 12,640 in the last 24 hours and 446 before May 19, for a total of 19,824,501 doses administered in Quebec.
  • Outside Quebec, a total of 332,708 doses were administered, for a cumulative total of 20,157,209 doses received by Quebecers.
