Saskatchewan Prime Minister Scott Moe said Monday his administration would ask the federal government to send health professionals to assist staff in the province’s overstretched intensive care units (ICUs) and ease some of the pressure on the health care system. “We are also quite realistic that there probably won’t be a large number of staff, but it will be a very specialized pool of staff that will be required,” he said.
