Quebec Health Minister Christian Dube announced on Tuesday that due to staffing concerns as the Omicron COVID-19 variant increases in the province, a policy change is being made to allow workers from Medical and essential care can work even if they test positive. He said decisions about who can work will be made on a case-by-case basis. Dube also announced that the boosters would begin rolling out for those 18 and over from January 4, 2022.
