COVID-19 Outbreak Declared at Lakeshore General Hospital: Health Officials – Montreal | The Canadian News

Montreal’s Lakeshore General Hospital said Friday that a COVID-19 outbreak was declared among its workers.

Fewer than five hospital employees have tested positive for the virus, and according to officials, the outbreak has not spread to patients.

The hospital did not confirm which department the outbreak is in, but sources say it is in the intensive care unit.

Authorities say affected personnel are isolated at home and the situation is being carefully monitored.
