COVID-19: Ontario Extends Capacity Limits for Some Indoor and Outdoor Environments | Watch news videos online

Ontario Medical Director of Health Dr. Kieran Moore said Friday that starting Saturday some indoor settings, such as banquet halls and theaters, will be able to expand their capacity to 50 percent or 10,000 people, whichever is less. Events without outdoor seating can increase their capacity by up to 75% or 15,000 people, while seated events can have 75% or 30,000 people. Outdoor venues with a typical maximum capacity of 20,000 or more will require proof of vaccination.
