Covid-19: Mexico registers 58 new deaths and 942 infections in the last 24 hours

The Health Secretary reported this Sunday, November 14, that the accumulated number of Covid-19 infections in Mexico increased to 3 million 845,733, after 942 confirmed cases were registered in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, the agency notified 58 new deaths because of coronavirus SARS-CoV-2. It is the first time in more than four months that a daily figure of less than 60 deaths has been registered. The total number of deaths from Covid-19 in Mexico amounted to 291,147.

It should be remembered that the health authorities have explained on various occasions that the figures for infections and deaths from Covid-19 they tend to be lower on weekends because health centers tend to take longer to deliver their reports.

The daily technical report on the progress of the pandemic in the country estimates 22,113 active cases, that is, people who have shown symptoms of the disease caused by the new coronavirus in the last 14 days.

According to data from the Ministry of Health, the states with the highest number of active cases per 100,000 inhabitants are:

Progress in vaccination against Covid-19 in Mexico
