Covid-19 in Mexico: Ministry of Health reports 99 new deaths and 1,225 infections in the last 24 hours

The Ministry of Health reported this Sunday 99 new deaths due to Covid-19, so the official number of deaths in the country due to this disease amounted to 292,471.

In the daily technical report on the progress of the pandemic in Mexico, the agency detailed that the accumulated number of infections of the new coronavirus increased to 3 million 863,362 after confirming 1,225 new cases in the last 24 hours.

Regarding hospital capacity, the occupation of general beds for the care of patients with Covid-19 is 17%; while beds with a ventilator for critically ill patients have an occupancy of 14 percent.

Health authorities estimate that there are around 19,654 active cases in the country, that is, people who have shown symptoms of Covid-19 in the last 14 days.

Vaccination against Covid-19 in Mexico

The federal government reported that 185,842 vaccines against the coronavirus were applied to the cutoff on Saturday, November 20, to register a total of 130 million 975,650 doses supplied in the country since the National Vaccination Plan against this disease began on December 24, 2020. .
