Ontario Medical Director of Health Dr. Kieran Moore said Tuesday that he hopes the reduced recommended waiting time after receiving a dose of COVID-19 vaccine “will help improve efficiency and minimize contact time of people”. Patients previously had to wait 15 minutes after receiving the vaccine, but the province has cut it down to five minutes.
