Huron County OPP says two people were seriously injured in a snowmobile collision southwest of Wroxeter, Ontario.

Police say around 12:30 a.m. Saturday, emergency crews responded to a snowmobile accident at the intersection of Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs (OFSC) Trail B108 and C Line Road.

The snowmobile driver and a passenger, both 25, were rushed to hospital with serious injuries.

Police believe alcohol and speed were factors in the collision.

The investigation is ongoing.
