Cosmo introduces ‘Saving Lisa’, the French adaptation of ‘Mother’ with Victoria Abril

Rose Keller (Caroline Anglade) started working as a substitute teacher at a primary school. When Rose confirms that the little girl is being abused by her family, she makes a radical decision: kidnap the girl who simulates her disappearance so they can start a new life together as mother and daughter.

With an abusive stepfather and a mother who literally throws her away, Lisa or Rose feels like the mother she never had. And as viewers will soon discover, the teacher sees herself reflected in this little girl. While police investigate Lisa’s disappearance, Rose must seek refuge with her foster mother and sisters, whom she has not seen in 10 years. And unexpectedly he will have to face the wounds of the past that characterized his life.
