Sweden has already chosen the artist who will represent it in the next edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. Cornelia Jacobs will carry the flag of the Scandinavian country in the next edition of the musical contest after winning the grand finale of the 62nd edition of the ‘Melodifestivalen’the mythical pre-selection organized by the Swedish SVT, with the theme ‘Hold me closer’.
In her first participation in the contest, Cornelia has met all the predictions. The singer obtained the passport to Rotterdam after achieve unanimity from the international jury, in which Spain participated with Eva Mora as spokesperson, and from the audience with 146 points during this grand final held at the Friends Arena in Solna-Stockholm.

In this way, Sweden will seek to match Ireland and achieve its seventh victory in the Eurovision Song Contest.
