Colau, homebound by two positives in her family

The mayoress of Barcelona, Ada Colau, has confirmed this Saturday that she is confined to her home after two people in her family have tested positive for covid. “Almost two years after the virus appeared, it has finally touched us at home as well,” the councilor advanced on her Instagram account. “Of the four people in the family nucleus, two have tested positive and two have tested negative. Fortunately, the two positive have, for now, mild symptoms.”

Colau explained that they have recommended that he stay at home while waiting for a PCR test in the middle of next week to confirm your negative. The mayor has announced that, out of prudence, she suspends her public agenda and will work from home in the coming days. He has also taken the opportunity to send “a lot of encouragement” to families who are in a “similar situation”, especially to those who are critical.
