The school was closed on November 19 due to an outbreak that included six confirmed cases among students and two cases among staff. The Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board had anticipated that the school would reopen on Monday.

“The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit has tentatively set Wednesday December 1 as the date to reopen the school,” said a board news release.

All students have switched to online learning.

“We have informed the school community of the tentative reopening date through voice messages and email, and we have let them know that this decision was made in collaboration with the health unit in the best interest of the health and safety of our students and staff, ”the release said. “More details on a firm reopening date will be communicated as soon as they are available.”
