Awaiting the winner of this contest is the No. 2 seed Grizzlies, while the loser will look to avoid elimination against the winner of the Nine-Ten Game between the Pelicans and Spurs.

22:05 — Well, Patrick Beverley just committed his third foul. A big blow for Minnesota, as their veteran leader will now likely have to sit out the rest of the first half. Clippers lead 17-13 with 2:32 remaining in the first quarter.

10:00 pm – Thanks to play from Anthony Edwards, the Timberwolves took an early lead. However, the Clippers kept their cool and quickly put together a 10-0 run to advantage 12-7 with 6:29 remaining in the first quarter.

  • The No. 9 and 10 teams from each conference will meet, with the winner advancing to play the loser of No. 7-vs.-No. 8 game. The loser of No. 9-vs.-No. 10 games will be eliminated from playoff contention.
  • The loser of No. 7-vs.-No. 8 and the winner of No. 9-vs.-No. 10 games then they will play against each other. The winner of that game will be the No. 8 seed in the playoffs. The loser will be eliminated from playoff contention.
  • Beyond the Play-In Tournament, the 2022 NBA Playoffs will follow the typical format, with complete best-of-seven series leading up to the NBA Finals.
