Claudia Sheinbaum confirms that she tested negative for Covid-19

The head of the Government of Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, assured that the result of her Covid-19 test was negative, with which she ruled out being infected with the new coronavirus.

At a press conference, he explained that an antigen test was carried out to rule out contagion, this after last Monday he had contact with President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, who tested positive for Covid-19 for the second time.

“I already took the test, I’m negative,” Sheinbaum said.

The head of government went this Wednesday morning to the Tec de Monterrey, Mexico City campus, to witness the start of the booster vaccination against Covid-19 for educational personnel who work in public and private schools in the capital.

It should be remembered that in October 2020, the official was infected with Covid-19, without having presented serious symptoms.
