The head of the Government of Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, assured that the result of her Covid-19 test was negative, with which she ruled out being infected with the new coronavirus.
At a press conference, he explained that an antigen test was carried out to rule out contagion, this after last Monday he had contact with President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, who tested positive for Covid-19 for the second time.
“I already took the test, I’m negative,” Sheinbaum said.
The head of government went this Wednesday morning to the Tec de Monterrey, Mexico City campus, to witness the start of the booster vaccination against Covid-19 for educational personnel who work in public and private schools in the capital.
It should be remembered that in October 2020, the official was infected with Covid-19, without having presented serious symptoms.
“Last night I was informed that I tested positive for Covid-19. I feel good, strong and I am under medical follow-up from @SSaludCdMx and the National Institute of Medical Sciences and Nutrition,” he wrote on the social network on March 27. October 2020.
For his part, this Monday López Obrador reported that he was infected for the second time with the disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
