Champions League: Messi scores and PSG beats Manchester City

In the Champions League, PSG emerged victorious from the shock against Manchester City. A 2-0 victory over the run of the game.

Idriss Gueye opened the scoring early in the game before Lionel Messi doubled the score in the 74th minute. It is the first goal of the Argentine star with the jersey of the Parisians.

Thanks to this victory, PSG takes the lead of Group A on equal points with Bruges who won against Leipzig (2-1).

In group B Liverpool, remains the boss after having crushed Porto 5 goals to 1. In the other meeting Atlético Madrid snatch victory in Milan thanks to a penalty from Suarez after stoppage of play (2-1).

Ajax Amsterdam and Borussia Dortmund are still fighting for first place in Group C after their respective victories against Besiktas (2-0) and Sporting Portugal (1-0).

Finally, group D and the surprise defeat of the great Real Madrid at home 1-2 against the modest and novice champion of Moldova, Sheriff Tiraspol, new leader of the group while Inter Milan were held in check in Ukraine (0 -0).
