In total, the city estimates that the three sections represent approximately $270 million in infrastructure work, which will see aging water and sewer lines replaced and traffic systems upgraded. When the BRT system is finally up and running, the service will be run by the London Transit Commission.

The city’s original BRT proposal included sections to the north and west of the city. The council removed the northern and western routes in 2019 and voted to submit only the current three sections for high-level government funding.
