CDMX increased payroll tax collection in 2021

Mexico City has managed to close 2021 with an annual increase due to the collection of the Payroll tax (ISN), for the Head of Government, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, it should be taken as an indication of recovery in job creation.

Without disclosing how much the total amount was, the president announced at a press conference that there is a significant increase compared to 2020 because conditions for recovery have been generated.

“The closure of 2021 increased the ISN very significantly, which means that jobs have grown, compared to 2020, with 2019; so in that sense the city is doing well, ”he explained.

In this sense, the president of the capital has assured that these new data will be announced in the last quarterly report of 2021.

“It must be sent for publication very soon and then comes the closure of the Public Account,” he emphasized.

In line with the Revenue Act 2021, a fundraiser by the ISN of 26,758 million pesos has been projected for the country’s capital.
