CDMX implements more measures for the fourth wave of Covid-19 infections

Given the increase in Covid-19 infections, the Government of Mexico City announced new measures, for example, it was agreed with private schools not to test their staff for Covid-19.

According to the Head of Government, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, the objective is that when presenting symptoms, the worker can be absent without having to present a test and thus break the chains of contagion more easily.

At a press conference, Claudia Sheinbaum also announced that this January 12 will begin the application of the booster vaccine to personnel of public and private institutions in the capital.

“To ask all educational institutions to allow their workers to get vaccinated during these dates, obviously the Ministry of Public Education will give all the facilities; and, in the case of other institutions, public and private, that they provide all the facilities so that educational personnel who received their first dose of CanSino can receive this second dose of Moderna in the following days ”, he explained.

The application of the booster dose for educational staff It will be carried out according to the initial letter of the first surname and under the following calendar: A, B, C, D, E, F on Thursday, January 13; G, H, I, J, K, L on Friday, January 14; M, N, Ñ, O, P, Q on Monday, January 17; while R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z on Tuesday, January 18.

The headquarters are the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico (ITAM), Río Hondo campus; in the parking lot of the Old Hospital de la Marina (entrance through Periférico); Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM), Mexico City campus in Tlalpan; Universidad Iberoamericana (UIA), Santa Fe campus; La Salle University (ULSA), Condesa neighborhood; Technological University of Mexico (UNITEC), South Campus in Iztapalapa; and the Technological University of Mexico, Cuitláhuac campus in Azcapotzalco.

The educational personnel of work centers located in the municipalities of Tlalpan, Xochimilco, Tláhuac and Milpa Alta, whose last name begins with the letters A and B, can go to the headquarters of the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey in Tlalpan from Wednesday the 12th.

The requirements to receive the booster dose are to work in a public or private educational work center in Mexico City and have received a second dose six months or more ago or carry proof of vaccination from CanSino.
