CDMX Electoral Tribunal revokes the expulsion of Nallely Gutiérrez and Ulises Ruiz from the PRI

The Electoral Tribunal of Mexico City reversed the expulsion of Nallely Gutiérrez and the former governor of Oaxaca Ulises Ruiz Ortiz of Institutional Revolutionary Partyl (PRI), which was requested by the national president of this political institution, Alejandro Moreno Cárdenas.

The former secretary general of the CEN del PRI, Nallely Gutiérrez Gijón, celebrated the decision of the Capital Electoral Tribunal issued on December 21.

“With this resolution, the arbitrariness, harassment, political persecution and political violence based on gender that I have been subjected to in recent months, for defending and fighting for just citizen causes and saving the PRI from corruption, is evidenced. “Gutiérrez Gijón explained in a statement issued the day the Court’s decision was made known.

Nallely Gutiérrez He demanded a public apology from Moreno Cárdenas, the restitution of his rights “as a lifelong PRI member” and of the status he kept in the party’s organs and structures.

In September 2021, the Party Justice Commission of the PRI notified Nallely Gutiérrez Gijón and Ulises Ruiz Ortiz of the resolution adopted unanimously in which the expulsion of both from that party was determined, requested in July by Moreno Cárdenas.

The Commission argued that the expulsion of the PRI was due to the fact that “conducts in support of political forces and antagonistic candidates to the political institute were accredited; doing acts that were intended to provoke divisions in the party, proceeding with serious indiscipline and carrying out smear activities against of PRI leaders “.

It should be remembered that Nallely Gutiérrez and the former governor of Oaxaca led on June 29, 2021, the seizure of the PRI’s national headquarters, to demand the resignation of Alejandro Moreno.

On the day of the capture, the PRI national leader and the Oaxacan leader held each other responsible for commanding shock groups that caused a rampage on the outskirts of the tricolor’s national headquarters, with the balance of two militants wounded by gunshots.
