CDMX authorities attend to the collapse of a house after a strong explosion in the mayor’s office Miguel Hidalgo

A house collapsed this Saturday morning after registering a strong explosion in the Pensil Norte neighborhood, in the mayor’s office Miguel Hidalgo. The place was attended by elements of the Red Cross, the Fire Department and the Secretariat for Comprehensive Risk Management and Civil Protection of Mexico City (SGIRPC).

The agency reported that so far, four people who were injured have been transferred to various hospitals.

“In a preliminary way, there is a report of eight people injured by the explosion in @AlcaldiaMHmx; four of them were transferred to receive medical attention, the rest were treated on the spot,” explained the SGIRPC.
