Catalonia has registered 21 deaths and 3,846 infections from covid-19 in the last 24 hours, in a sixth wave that continues to rise with more hospital admissions and ICU patients.

According to the incidence data updated this Wednesday by the Ministry of Health, there are 833 admitted patients in Catalan hospitals, 38 more than the day before, of which 189 are in the ICU, 14 more than yesterday.

The risk of regrowth (EPG), an index that measures the growth potential of the epidemic, continues to rise and reaches the 476 points, 24 more than yesterday, well above the 384 that was the maximum of the fourth wave on April 12.
