A LaSalle community is holding a fundraiser Saturday to help the embattled country of Ukraine.
The sale of pottery candles and Ukraine flag keychains will be held from noon to 3 pm at 2020 Canard Dr.
“My daughter Julia will be the front person, she is seven and really wanting to do something to help,” said organizer Patricia MacDonald. “We thought we could put our crafts to work.”
Organizers say 100 per cent of the proceeds from Candles for Ukraine will go to the Red Cross. Hand crafted pottery cups were made and donated by River Rock Pottery for this event.
