The Apple Watch Series 7 now features 41mm and 45mm screen sizes, and the Retina Always-On display now displays up to 70% brighter indoors, compared to its predecessor.
With the larger screen, you can now have a full QWERTY keyboard that you can touch or slide with QuickPath.
Apple also says that the Apple Watch Series 7 comes with a stronger front glass that is 50% thicker than the Series 6, which makes the watch more resistant to cracks without changing the optical clarity.
Apple Watch Series 7 is IP6X certified for dust resistance, while the WR50’s water resistance remains.
When it comes to charging, new fast charging is available for Apple Watch Series 7, via a new magnetic fast charger USB-C cable when paired with a 20W power adapter.
There are 5 new aluminum case colors for Apple Watch Series 7, including midnight, starlight, green and a new blue and (PRODUCT) RED.
The Apple Watch Series 7 is available in silver, graphite, and gold stainless steel.
As for Apple Watch Nike and Hermes, new watch bands and faces will arrive this fall. The Nike Sport Loop comes in 3 new colors and will feature the Nike Swoosh in the fabric of the band, to match the new Nike Bounce watch face.
As for the Apple Watch Hermes, the new “Gourmette Double Tour pays homage to the Hermès necklaces of the 1930s, with fluidly interlocking links in supple Fauve Barénia leather.”
Also coming from the Apple Watch Hermes is the “Circuit H, a bold graphic representation of a signature anchor chain design, printed on Swift leather with a complementary watch face.”
Apple also noted when it comes to the environment, Apple Watch Series 7 “has more recycled content than any other Apple Watch, with 100 percent recycled rare earth elements in all magnets, including the Taptic engine; almost 100 percent recycled tungsten throughout the product; and a 100% recycled box in aluminum models “.
