The Shaw Charity Classic raised $ 14,797,827 in donations during the 2021 summer golf tournament in Calgary, according to a press release Tuesday.

It exceeds the 2020 total of $ 12 million, showing that the SCC has become more than just a golf tournament, said SCC President Jim Riddell.

“Since charitable giving is at the heart of the Shaw Charity Classic, the tournament simply has the power to bring the community together like no other event I have ever seen,” he said.

“I truly believe that the support of the Alberta community is the reason this event continually breaks charitable giving records every year.”
