Calgary’s Paperless restaurant now doesn’t have the papers it needs to function.

The city of Calgary revoked the pizzeria’s business license on Thursday, while the Alberta Liquor and Gaming Commission stripped it of its liquor license and Alberta Health Services withdrew the food handling permits.

The city’s business license inspectors issued 27 fines to owners for refusing to verify proof of vaccination, failing to display signs describing the vaccine passport rules, and operating while the restaurant’s business license was suspended.

The city said it had received “many complaints and inquiries about Without Papers Pizza,” adding that “this cannot be sustained.” He also said that most companies are complying with the statutes.
