Bosch plans to expand its operations in Queretaro

Querétaro, Qro. Through these five years of operations in Queretaro, the German automotive company Bosch projects the expansion of its operations in the state.

The communications company that will amplify its plant – located in Colon – which is dedicated to manufacturing technology for industry, with the proposal to install more high-tech production lines, as well as a power plant with a capacity of 12,000 square meters.

In the project, it invested 146 million dollars, which implies at least duplicating the work base, then to the 299 current collaborators a total of 400 new work shifts to have a plant of 699 people.

The new inversion of the company’s interests to develop high automotive technology in the country, led by the President of Bosch in Mexico, René Schlegel.

The plant’s commercial director, Adam Olson, explained that the amplification will generate new opportunities for news such as new business workers.

Bosch Querétaro’s operations center, the company said, was linked with a median point for collaboration, creativity and innovation for the company.

In 2017, the manufacturing center initiated operations to manufacture electronic assisted management systems, which provided a technology that provided driver assistance functions, being a fundamental element in vial security.

The company’s new announcement states that it will be launched in November 2021 ––también for the Bajío region–, an investment plan of 74 million euros in its Aguascalientes plant.

Presence

In the Mexican market, Bosch established in 1966 its first manufacturing plant, located in Toluca, Mexico City. Since then it has expanded its presence, with 14 placements in the country.

By 2020 alone, Bosch in Mexico is launching a sales volume of $ 2,700 million, increasing to 17,200 collaborators.

The company has four operating frameworks: mobility solutions, industrial technology, consumer goods and energy, as well as technology for construction.

Germany

Germany is the quartermasters of the Foreign Exchange directing the state, accumulating 1,155 million dollars from 1999 to the third quarter of 2021, following the United States, Spain and Canada, in agreement with the Secretariat of Economy.

However, from 2019 to the third quarter of 2021, the German inversion showed a decline in the state: while in 2018 it amounted to 250 million dollars, for 2019 closed with 45.6 million, for 2020 there will be a return of 12.9 million and in the first months of 2021 amounted to 31.7 million dollars.
