We already know the names of the nominees for the 36th edition of the Goya Awards, whose delivery ceremony will be held next 12 of February of 2022 in the Arts of Valencia. Nathalie Poza and José Coronado have been in charge of unveiling the applicants for the 28 categories this Monday morning, being ‘The good boss’ the film that starts with the most options with 20 nominations.
The film directed by Fernando León de Aranoa opts to win the Goya for Best Film, a category in which they are also ‘Liberty’, by Clara Roquet, ‘Parallel mothers’by Pedro Almodóvar; ‘Maixabel’, by Icíar Bollaín and ‘Mediterranean’, by Marcel Barrena.
The Goya for Best Leading Actress will be among Emma Suarez (‘Josefina’), Petra Martinez (‘Life was that’), Penelope Cruz (‘Parallel mothers’) and Blanca Portillo (‘Maixabel’). The Goya for Best Leading Actor will be disputed Javier Bardem (‘The good boss’), Javier Gutierrez (‘The daughter’), Luis Tosar (‘Maixabel’) y Eduard Fernández (‘Mediterranean’).
Jorge Motos (‘Lucas’), Oscar de la Fuente (‘The good boss’), Tarik Rmil (‘The good boss’) and Chechu Salgado (‘The laws of the border’) are nominated in the category of Best New Actor, while Angela Cervantes (‘Chavalas’), Almudena Love (‘The good boss’), Nicolle García (‘Freedom’) and Maria Cerezuela (‘Maixabel’) are listed in the Best New Actress section.
