Saying his province is ahead of others, Health Minister Adrian Dix said Friday that he would not change BC’s focus on booster vaccines. The decision comes when the National Immunization Advisory Committee “strongly” recommended that all adults age 50 and older receive a third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. The committee also recommends that booster shots of an mRNA vaccine be offered to adults ages 18 to 49 at least six months after their second dose. Richard Zussman reports.
