One fire has burned in the early hours of this Friday a bakery centenary of the Barcelona district of Gràcia, the Ideal, and the smoke and temperature have affected practically the entire premises, sources from the Barcelona City Council have confirmed to Efe.

The firefighters have received around 2.30 in the morning the notice of the fire in the pastry shop, located at number 207 from Gran de Gràcia street, and they have mobilized seven vehicles to put it out.

The fire has started in the attic of the premises and it has affected the rest of the business, although the houses of the building where the store is located have not been affected.
The Ideal Pastry, with 102 years of life, is a business that links three generations of the same family, with the founder’s grandson as its current manager, and is known, in addition to its roots in the neighborhood, for keeping the aesthetics of the old pastry shops of Gràcia.
