The president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayusohas published a statement in which he assures that his brother, Tomás Diaz Ayuso, received 55,850 euros for the contract with the company Priviet Sportive not for obtaining a contract with the regional Administration but for the collection of the steps taken to obtain the medical material in China and its transfer to Madrid.

So that, Ayuso has insisted this Friday that he did not influence the award of the contract to the company linked to his brother and denies that what he received from Priviet Sportive was “a commission for obtaining the administration contract”.
This has been detailed in a statement issued to journalists in which he has stated that he “it seems demeaning to have to clarify my brother’s business relations with a company due to suspicions based on information that no one explains where they came from”.
The Madrid president specifies that her brother received from that company “for the steps taken to obtain the material from China and its transfer to Madrid” and therefore denies that it is “a commission for obtaining the contract from the Administration.”
The regional president stressed that “never influenced the purchase of masks from this companyand he learned of that contract when he was informed” by the leader of the PP, Pablo Casado, “not before”.

In the statement, Díaz Ayuso has detailed that the invoice to Priviet Sportive is for a total amount of “€55,850, plus VAT” for “the steps taken to obtain the material in China and its transfer to Madrid, which is different”.
