Another visit from Legault to Sherbrooke

Prime Minister François Legault went for the second time in as many weeks, Monday, to the riding of Sherbrooke, which the CAQ would like to delight from Québec solidaire.

This time, he visited the Marché de la Gare with his candidate Caroline St-Hilaire, before heading to the Kruger plant in Bromptonville with the MP for Saint-François, Geneviève Hébert.

The company officially inaugurated its new tissue paper factory, built in the pandemic and commissioned last year. Kruger management also announced its expansion project, an investment of $351.5 million.

Since 2018, the company has invested close to a billion dollars in Estrie and is pursuing its goal of being a major manufacturing hub for high-end tissue paper products in North America. Within two years, Kruger will employ nearly 400 people in its Estrie factories.
