AMLO meets with members of the Business Advisory Council

In private, the president Andrés Manuel López Obrador offered this Tuesday a meal at National Palace to entrepreneurs and members of the Business Advisory Council of the Presidency of the Republic.

The Advisory Council was attended by Carlos Hank González, president of Grupo Financiero Banorte; Bernardo Gomez, executive co-president of Grupo Televisa; Ricardo Salinas Pliego, president of Grupo Salinas; Olegario Vázquez Aldir of Grupo Empresarial Ángeles; Miguel Rincon, director of Bio Pappel; and Raúl Gutiérrez Muguerza, president of Deacero.

German Larrea, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mexico Group, and Daniel Chávez, founder of Grupo Vidanta, were also present at the closed-door meeting, which did not reveal any information on the reason for the meeting or the topics discussed, as well as Alfonso Romo Garza, former head of the Office of the Presidency and liaison with the businessmen of the aforementioned council.

The meeting lasted approximately three hours.
